MU’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital is leaving the facility near I-70 and Highway 63 for the main campus in 2024.
MU Health Care CEO Jonathan Curtright says upkeep on the current Keene Street building would have cost about $50 million.
“When you have a number of that magnitude, you at least have to ask yourself is this the best option moving forward?”
Curtright says women’s and children’s hospital staff can work more efficiently in a new building. He joined CEO Roundtable, Saturdays at 7 a.m. on 93.9 The Eagle.
