MU police find no sexual assault happened in weekend case

MU Police say a sexual assault initially reported over the weekend on campus never happened.

Investigators had said the alleged incident took place Friday night when four suspects forced a victim into a van near College and Wilson Avenues.

MUPD said Tuesday that the report was unfounded, and the person who called in the incident said no kidnapping or sexual assault took place.
