Jefferson City police are investigating another shooting death this week.
Officers say they learned about shots fired at about 11 p.m. Wednesday on the south side of town. They found two men shot near an apartment complex close to the intersection of Broadway and W. Atchison.
A 33-year-old man, Justin Kammerich, has died. A 20-year-old has life-threatening injuries. JCPD has taken a 16-year-old into custody
The department says this is not connected to the shooting death of Lincoln University student D’Angelo Bratton-Bland on Tuesday night.
