Nashville Police using boats in their search for missing Mizzou student

Nashville’s Newschannel 5 is reporting today that the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission is launching an investigation into Luke Bryan’s bar on Broadway, to see if they may have overserved missing Mizzou student Riley Strain.

The 22-year-old Strain remains missing, and Newschannel 5 reports Nashville’s Office of Emergency Management has searched for Riley by boat. Mr. Strain, who’s from southwest Missouri’s Springfield, was last seen Friday night after leaving Luke Bryan’s bar. His family says Riley is a senior business student at Mizzou who’s set to graduate in May, and that his was in Nashville for a fraternity conference.

Riley Strain is six feet six inches tall with blue eyes and light brown hair. MUPD is also investigating: anyone with information on Strain’s whereabouts should call the MUPD at (573) 882-7201.

A candlelight vigil was held for Riley last night at Springfield’s Kickapoo high school.
