Natural gas pipeline ruptures near Mexico

A natural gas pipeline ruptures, leading to a huge explosion north of Mexico.

Authorities say they’ve gotten no word of any injuries after the rupture caused a huge fireball about a mile north of town early Sunday. See video of it here.

Highway 15 is expected to be closed north of Mexico until Tuesday while authorities and Panhandle Eastern Pipeline investigate what happened and repair the damage.
