A Holts Summit man who’s charged with rape and kidnapping now faces additional charges.
Prosecutors added kidnapping and sodomy charges for Anthony Rowell on Wednesday. He allegedly pretended to be a police officer in 2017 and forced a woman who was stranded along Highway 63 at Ashland to have sex with him.
Rowell, 49, already faced charges involving attacks on women while he was an Uber driver in Columbia last year.
