SSM St. Mary’s Hospital has a new president.
Mike Baumgartner took over the role this month at St. Mary’s facilities in both Jefferson City and Mexico.
Baumgartner has headed up SSM St. Francis Hospital in Maryville. The move comes along with talks about MU Health buying both mid-Missouri hospitals. There’s now an organized Jefferson City group fighting the sale.
