A Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Mizzou graduate will perform the national anthem at Mizzou football’s season opener in Columbia next Thursday night.

Sheryl Crow, who grew up in southeast Missouri’s Kennett, earned her degree in music education from Mizzou in 1984. She’s a nine-time Grammy winner and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.

Sheryl Crow says she can’t wait to get back to Columbia and see Mizzou fans at the season opener.
