Voters in Columbia/Boone County will cast ballots on Proposition 1, which involves senior citizens and property taxes. Voters in Columbia’s second ward will be electing a replacement for former Councilwoman Lisa Meyer, who resigned in May for health reasons.

The government center will be open from 8 am to 5 pm today, and Boone County clerk Brianna Lennon reminds you to bring your photo ID. That can include a Missouri driver’s or non-driver’s license, a U-S passport or a military ID.
