No injuries, after bomb threat at Columbia daycare

An investigation is underway into who is responsible for Tuesday’s bomb threat that forced the evacuation of a Columbia KinderCare on busy Ash street. No injuries are reported.

Columbia Police brought in a bomb-sniffing dog from Mizzou, and reporter Marina Diaz from our news partner ABC-18 reports a half-dozen police cars were on-scene. Parent Keith Hill tells Marina that he’s pleased with the way the school and first responders handled the evacuation, and just hopes this doesn’t happen again to KinderCare.

Ash street re-opened about 90 minutes later.
