There are no reports of injuries in mid-Missouri, despite numerous tornado warnings Friday night across the entire 939 the Eagle listening area.
Boone County Office of Emergency Management director Chris Kelley tells 939 the Eagle that no injuries are reported in Boone County.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in St. Louis issued two tornado warnings in Boone County Friday night and they also issued tornado warnings for Cole, Callaway, Audrain, Moniteau and Montgomery counties. The NWS had issued a tornado watch Friday for Columbia, Jefferson City and for the entire 939 the Eagle mid-Missouri listening area.
The strong storms knocked a large tree down in Hartsburg and some flooding was also reported across the listening area.
