NWS: Columbia received 1.7 inches of snow on Wednesday

Temperatures overnight dropped to about ten degrees, causing some streets to refreeze. Columbia saw snow throughout the day on Wednesday. Columbia Public Works spokesman John Ogan encourages you to reduce your speed as you drive to work Thursday morning. You’ll want to give yourself extra stopping distance as well.

National Weather Service (NWS) St. Louis meteorologist John Carney tells 939 the Eagle that Columbia received 1.7 inches of snow on Wednesday.
