NWS: Mid-Missouri expected to receive 10-14 inches of snowfall by Thursday

A winter storm warning will impact the entire 939 the Eagle listening area, from Tuesday evening until Thursday night.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued the winter storm warning for all of mid-Missouri, including Columbia, Jefferson City and Moberly.

NWS Kansas City meteorologist Hallie Bova says 10-14 inches is now expected in central Missouri, with snow and a wintry mix beginning tonight at 9.

Ms. Bova says rain will begin in the listening area late this morning, and that will change to a wintry mix tonight. It will change over to snow at about midnight.
