Another star junior is leaving Mizzou football for the pros a year early.
Tight end Albert Okwuegbunam made his announcement on social media on Monday. A fellow junior, defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, made a similar announcement on Sunday.
The team also issued confirmation Monday that freshman quarterback Connor Bazelak tore his right ACL in the win against Arkansas on Friday. It’s not clear if he’ll be healthy in time for the first spring practices under the guy who replaces Barry Odom as coach.
