Police make one arrest after some gunshots near a south Columbia fast-food restaurant.
Officers found several shell casings at about 1:30 p.m. Friday near the McDonald’s close to Nifong Blvd. and Buttonwood Dr. No one was hurt.
At about 2 p.m., officers arrested Dajon Gulley in the McDonald’s parking lot. He allegedly ran from the cops and threw a gun under a vehicle before he was arrested.
Gulley, 23, is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and resisting arrest. Investigators say it is not clear if he is the person behind the shots fired.
