One hurt in Jefferson City apartment complex fire

A fire does $30,000 worth of damage at a Jefferson City Housing Authority building.

Crews learned about smoke and fire coming from a fourth floor apartment on Jackson Street at about 11 p.m. Sunday.

One person evacuating the building was hurt. Investigators say it looks like an electrical issue is behind the fire.
