One person in custody after Columbia shooting

James Howard Troy is in the Boone County Jail after his alleged connection to a shooting on April 8.

Troy, 22, was booked into jail on Saturday on several charges.

He allegedly shot at a woman and her four children on McBaine Avenue in the middle of town on Wednesday evening. No one was hurt, but a home and some cars were damaged.
