Contestants from 26 states, including California and Florida, have traveled to mid-Missouri’s Ashland for this weekend’s 2026 Cattlemen Days rodeo.
It is being presented by the Cedar Valley Riders and the Ashland Optimist.
The rodeo begins Friday night and takes place Friday and Saturday nights at 8. Rodeo co-chair Lane Willams tells 939 the Eagle that they’re expecting more than 7,000 fans over the two-night event.
He says fans will enjoy the new video board, which will show replays. Traffic is expected to be heavy in Ashland for the rodeo, and Mr. Williams is encouraging you to carpool.
