Parking brake manufacturer Otscon announced this week that it will be closing its Columbia facility in October after 36 years. About 220 employees will lose their jobs. The company’s facility is located east of Columbia at the intersection of Rangeline and Richland roads. That’s just south of the Route Z exit off I-70.
