Overnight larcenies from cars in north Columbia

A thief apparently went to town in north Columbia overnight.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department took reports of several larcenies from cars Tuesday morning off Highway VV in the County Downes and Kinkade Crossing subdivisions. The suspect took laptops, wallets, and more from at least eight different cars.

All the vehicles were unlocked.
