UPDATE: Columbia Police have arrested 18-year-old Jeremiah Johnson of Columbia for the overnight shooting on Lincoln drive. CPD is seeking charges of first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Columbia Police describe their investigation as ongoing. Columbia Police say an adult male suffered serious injuries after being shot multiple times overnight in the central city.
CPD’s Facebook post says the incident happened at around 1 am in the 200 block of Lincoln drive. That’s near Providence and Worley. Columbia Police investigators say the adult male victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries and that two adult males have been detained. CPD also reports damage to one vehicle.
