Missouri’s pharmacies will be getting more of the coronavirus vaccine soon.
Gov. Mike Parson said Thursday 15 percent of the state’s vaccine allocation will go to select pharmacies starting next week.
“One hundred sixty-one pharmacies have been identified in 84 counties, and were selected based on ability, location and population,” said Parson.
Parson also says the state will start holding more mass vaccination events in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. Some critics had said the state has not equally distributed vaccine supply to Missouri’s higher-populated regions.
