Parson signs two violent crime bills into law

Governor Parson officially signs two bills from the violent crime special session into law.

One measure, House Bill 46 allows St. Louis cops to live outside the city. St. Louis already has more murders this year than in all of 2019 (194).

The other measure Parson made official on Monday creates a statewide witness protection program. We may see another special state legislative session this year to pay for House Bill 66.
