You’re invited to this afternoon’s beam-signing and topping-off ceremonies at Columbia Regional Airport (COU). They will take place at 1:30 and 2, respectively.
Columbia’s city manager says the ceremony will give you an opportunity to be part of Columbia’s history. You’ll be able to sign your name on the final beam of the $23-million terminal being built at COU.
Columbia Mayor Brian Treece, Jefferson City Mayor Carrie Tergin, Boone County Presiding Commissioner Dan Atwill and UM System President Dr. Mun Choi will speak at today’s ceremony.
