Police chase ends in crash near Holts Summit

A Jefferson City man is in the hospital after allegedly driving away from the cops and crashing.

The Highway Patrol says Dustin Clements was going too fast on Callaway County Road 391 near Route OO with Holts Summit police chasing him Saturday night. His car went through a yard and hit a concrete retaining wall and a basement wall.

Clements, 31, went to the hospital with serious injuries.
