Police chase in Centralia ends with arrest

The first hearing was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon for the Mexico man accused of leading Centralia police on a chase.

Officers say Carl Dehn drove away from an attempted traffic stop at about 8:30 p.m. Monday. He allegedly went off-road near Highways 22 and 151, then tried to run. A K9 unit helped to track him down.

Investigators say Dehn’s license plates were fake, his license was expired, and he had some meth in the car.

The 39-year-old is now in jail on several charges.
