Columbia police make two arrests after a child is accidentally shot in the northeast part of town.
Investigators say it happened at about 9 p.m. Friday on Whispering Meadows Court. A child in a home there suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Latosha Nichols, 39, and Purvis Hunt III, 42, both of Columbia, are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
