Police investigate shots fired during south Columbia party

Columbia police are looking for the man who shot a gun at a south-side apartment complex.

Officers say someone hosted a party at Aspen Heights Parkway near Grindstone and Highway 63. The shooter had been removed from the party after a fight at about 12:40 a.m. Thursday, and shot several rounds in the air as he left.

No one was hurt, and nothing was damaged in the shots fired. Officers did find several shell casings.
