Teenager dead, another arrested after possible shooting in northeast Columbia

Police say a teenager is dead and another is arrested after an apparent shooting in northeast Columbia.

Officers say they got to a home on Irma Drive between Shamrock Drive and Lake of the Woods Road at around 9:50 p.m. Monday. They found Roberto Lauer, 18, of Columbia with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers arrested Shawn Long, 18, accusing him of involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action.
