Columbia Police did some life-saving work this (Mon) morning.
Officers got a call just before 9:30 a.m. of a woman standing and sitting on the railing at the top of the Fifth and Walnut Street parking garage.
Police closed the area to traffic as crisis negotiators contacted the 42-year-old woman.
They brought her down to safety just after 11 a.m.
