Stephens College has made its first major acquisition under their new president, purchasing Nourish Café and Market downtown.

The popular market on East Broadway will continue to operate with its existing mission and will continue to be free of gluten, soy, corn and refined sugar, Stephens says. School president Dr. Shannon Lundeen also says the restaurant will offer a learning opportunity for Stephens students studying fields like business, marketing and communication design. President Lundeen says Nourish is already a space centered on health, creativity and connection and will be an extension of the classroom where students build skills, confidence and career readiness.

Starting in 2016, Stephens students will have the opportunity to learn key aspects of running Nourish. Stephens also says longtime Nourish manager Josh Old will remain in his leadership role.
