Possible arson at south Columbia home

Columbia authorities are investigating a suspicious fire in the southwest part of town.

Crews saw smoke coming from a home on W. Bethany Dr. near Scott Blvd. at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. No people were hurt, but a pet rabbit has died.

Investigators now say the fire was suspicious. Police are part of the investigation.
