A bunch of meth and cash are now off mid-Missouri streets, and three suspects are now in jail.
The work started on South Clark Street in Mexico, where officers say they arrested 51-year-old James Worthington of Benton City and 37-year-old Samuel Gourley of Auxvasse on drug charges Friday afternoon. Worthington allegedly tried to run from the cops during the arrest.
That led authorities to Gold Road in Kingdom City on Friday night. Investigators arrested 40-year-old Daniel Smith and say they found more than a pound of meth, and more than $63,000 in cash.
