Columbia officials have scheduled a press conference at 2 p.m. today with an update on the Mengqi Ji case, a woman who went missing in 2019.
Police said in late March a hiker at Rock Bridge State Park may have found her remains. Authorities were waiting on DNA testing to confirm it was her.
Mengqi Ji’s husband, Joseph Elledge, is accused of killing her.
