Probation for local teacher who had sex with student

A one-time school counselor and coach draws probation after admitting to having sex with a student.

Clairyssa Lorenz was sentenced to five years probation in both Cooper and Moniteau counties. The 16-year old male victim told investigators he had sex with Lorenz last year in both counties.

Lorenz was a softball coach at California High School and also worked as a counselor in the Russellville schools in Cole County.
