Construction starts in December on a big new mid-Missouri job maker.
Quaker Windows and Doors is opening a $65 million manufacturing facility in Eldon. The state department of economic development says it will create 300 jobs.
“If we have opportunities here for our children they will continue to make this area their home. And that’s what we’d really like to do,” Eldon Mayor Larry Henderson said to Missourinet.
Manufacturing at the new Eldon facility is on track to start in the fall of 2019.
