Forecasters say to expect about four inches of snow from now through Friday.
Meteorologist Gary Schmocker with the National Weather Service says we could see some heavy snow start Thursday evening or Thursday night.
“It looks like it’ll probably stay snow then for the rest of [Thursday night] and probably most of the day [on Friday]. I couldn’t rule out a little bit of mix in the afternoon.”
Winter road conditions may have played a role in 16 crashes on local highways on Thursday morning, according to the Highway Patrol. Troopers say two people were hurt.
