A Randolph County Sheriff’s Department vehicle catches fire.
A jailer was on the job when his SUV caught fire on Friday morning on Highway 63 a few miles north of Columbia near Finger Lakes State Park.
The jailer was not hurt, but the SUV is a total loss.
The fire caused delays on southbound Highway 63 for a couple hours.
