Most of Mid-Missouri is under a Red Flag Warning until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials say do not burn outside right now, because of the dry, windy conditions and the warm temperatures. Even small fires can spread fast.
Unsafe outside burning conditions will be present on Wednesday due to dry vegetation, very gusty winds and low humidity. Because of this, a red flag warning has been issued for Boone County. PLEASE DO NOT BURN OUTSIDE TODAY. pic.twitter.com/2zzLVcl06k

Several Missouri counties are in official drought conditions, but none in our part of the state as of Oct. 8.
