Fort Collins police say 44-year-old Maximilian Bondrescu allegedly rented a vehicle to drive to Missouri and then drove the juvenile female to Colorado. He also allegedly made her shovel for his snow removal company in Colorado. Fort Collins police say Bondrescu is a registered sex offender.

The juvenile has been missing from Columbia since December. Boone County Sheriff’s Captain Brian Leer tells 939 the Eagle that Boone County’s cyber crimes unit has been diligently working this case for months, adding they worked with Colorado authorities to find and rescue her. He says it’s a sad situation but they’re happy she has been located and rescued.
