Remole backs coal energy

A local state representative is one of the biggest supporters of coal in the Missouri legislature.

Tim Remole’s district north of I-70 includes the Thomas Hill power plant.

“We’re already in the upper 90’s in taking out the pollutants of coal,” Remole says on The Gary Nolan Show. “Still the most reliable and most economical way to go.”

Remole says the government spends too much money in wind energy subsidies.

“The Department of Interior actually even said the average life of a windmill right now is five years…yet we have billions of dollars invested for wind energy, and solar is a much better alternative in my eyes.”
