Ashland GOP Rep. Sara Walsh serves on the House Budget Committee. She’s not excited about the proposal.
“[It is a] potential impact of $300 million to the budget,” said Walsh. “If something like that should pass, we are going to have to have massive cuts. We’re going to have to make some very difficult decisions on the budget committee.”
As lawmakers again introduce a bill to require Missourians to be part of a Prescription Drug Monitoring Plan, Walsh says she’s a ‘No’ on that as well. She worries about the data base infringing on personal privacy rights.
