Is the Missouri legislature headed toward a special session soon?
Ashland Republican representative Sara Walsh says on the Mike Ferguson Show the signs are pointing toward ‘yes.’
“One thing that I expect will be part of that will be the FRA, and hopefully some pro-life language to provide protections from state tax dollars being used for that,” said Walsh.
That FRA tax provides federal funding for Medicaid in the state. But Republicans have said they don’t want any of that money to go toward abortions. The FRA will expire on Sept. 30.
