We’re getting word of a gunshot in downtown Columbia overnight.
Officers found a shell casing on S. Ninth St. near Cherry St. at about 1 a.m. Thursday. Witnesses told police there was a big fight, then someone shot a gun into the air.
No word of any arrests, injuries, or damage.
