A familiar name in Columbia-area health care will be the new vice president of Boone Health.
Boone has announced that Rock Bridge graduate Drew Wilkinson will start Monday as Boone Health’s vice president for provider and ambulatory operations. Boone says that role encompasses 155 providers across 11 specialty clinics, 11 primary care clinics and two convenient care clinics.
2023 statistics from Columbia Regional Economic Development Incorporated (REDI) show Boone Hospital is the sixth-largest employer in Columbia and Boone County. REDI says Boone Hospital Center has 1,581 employees.
