Sentencing is on Nov. 27 for the Rocky Mount man who admitted to abandoning a dead body.
Darrell Willis admitted last year that he helped Joanna Anderson’s boyfriend hide her body in 2016. That dismembered body was found in 2017 stuffed in an oil drum.
The boyfriend, Steven Swon, apparently killed Anderson in a domestic dispute. He died of cancer in 2017.
Willis on Nov. 9 pleaded guilty to abandonment of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
