A popular Columbia music festival will require attendees to show proof of vaccination.
Officials with the Roots N Blues Festival announced the change Thursday. They say people who aren’t vaccinated must have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. The festival takes place Sept. 24-26.

There were 95 new coronavirus cases in Boone County Thursday. Active cases went down, to 732. Hospitalizations rose slightly, to 118. Hospitals in Boone are still operating at “yellow” status, meaning resources are strained and some surgeries are being delayed.
Cole County reported 31 new cases Thursday.
