Emphasizing its aim to bring high-quality and accessible health care to rural populations it serves, Columbia-based Boone Health announced Thursday that a new clinic will be built in mid-Missouri’s Glasgow.
The rural town of about 1,100 is located northwest of Columbia.
Boone Health chief executive officer Brady Dubois says this is only possible because of the generosity of the Boone Hospital Foundation and its donors. President Dubois says they’re leading the effort to provide up to $1-million to purchase the land and build a larger and modern clinic that will better serve the Glasgow area, which has a large elderly population.
Boone Health expects the new clinic to be done by late summer or early fall 2026.
