Hundreds of people are expected to turn out Friday evening in downtown Columbia for the popular “Living Windows” event. Mild weather is expected to boost turnout.

The event is from 6-8 pm, and includes live performances, snowflakes on Broadway and Santa Claus. It will also include open houses, shopping and the Magic Tree.

The District tells 939 the Eagle that this event is one of their biggest ones of the year. The District says parking is free in downtown garages after 6 pm.
