May 22 is one of the worst weather dates in Missouri history.
In 2019, a late-night tornado tore through the heart of Jefferson City, packing winds stronger than 150 miles an hour and doing damage at the state capital and Eldon.
Saturday also marks the ten-year anniversary of the Joplin tornado. The EF-5 twister killed about 160 people.
Looking forward to seeing friends, hero’s, and positive recovery at Joplin Tornado 10 year remembrance Saturday at 5:41. “The toughest people on God’s Green Earth.”
